Wet roads pose an additional obstacle to test driving a vehicle. First, when driving on wet roads you need to allow for the different surface.  Wet roads can be slick, slippery, and dangerous.  Driving the posted speed limits is important.  The dealer or private seller will want you to maintain proper speeds, as well.  Slick roads could even require you to drive under the speed limit to avoid obstacles and dangers.
It is also common sense to drive at a speed that allows for dangerous road conditions.  You are test driving a Caldina Wagon for sale you know nothing about.  You do not know if the brakes are new or if they need to be replaced.  As soon as you get into the car or SUV you should take off from the parked position slowly, and test the brakes.  If you know going out on the drive that the brakes are soft you can adjust your driving habits to suit the vehicle.
